According to Greer, deals on Chinese purchases of US agricultural products have been firmed up. But China’s foreign ministry did not confirm any such new deals, saying only that both sides had agreed to maintain stable trade ties and expand co-operation based on “equality, mutual respect and mutual benefit”.
