Prominent tipster Digital Chat Station claims that Chinese smartphone makers have begun testing hardware-level privacy screen technology, similar to the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The tipster says the feature could appear in flagship smartphones launching around September this year.
Recent rumors suggest the Xiaomi 18 series may debut around that time. The vivo X500 lineup and Oppo Find X10 series are expected to arrive in October, while OnePlus and Realme are likely to unveil their flagship devices in the same window. It remains to be seen which of these models, if any, will incorporate the new display technology.
