Rapper Enchanting died as a result of an accidental overdose of prescription medications, authorities say.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office said that the music artist, who passed away at age 26 June 11, overdosed on a combination of the opioid painkiller Oxycodone and benzodiazepines, or depressant drugs that include medications such as Valium and Xanax, TMZ reported Aug. 23.

The office noted in its autopsy report that Enchanting, whose real name is Channing Nicole Larry, died at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Enchanting was born in Germany, where her dad was stationed with the U.S. Army. She was mostly raised in Atlanta and spent her teen years in Fort Worth, Texas. She began her music career at age 18 after graduating from high school. In 2020, she signed to Gucci Mane‘s 1017 Records and went on to release two full-length albums—2022’s No Luv and 2023’s Luv Scarred / No Luv.

“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady,” Gucci wrote on Instagram after her death, “a true star we gone all miss you Chant.”
