Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 series hasn’t launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 at the company’s Unpacked event earlier this month, but it is of course still coming this year.

Last week we heard that the tablets would launch in October, and today that rumor has sort of been confirmed by a new rumor, which says that production for the Tab S10 models will start in August.

That apparently lines up with an October launch, according to Display Supply Chain Consultants’ Ross Young, who is the source of this rumor. The hues on offer will be gray and silver, so there won’t be any more colorful options for the tablets like we’ve seen for the recent foldables.

Young says the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra are going into production next month, with no word on a ‘vanilla’ model. This basically confirms a rumor from the beginning of this month, which claimed there will be no ‘vanilla’ Tab S10 and only the Plus and Ultra variants are actually coming.

Both of those will be using MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ SoC, according to some recent benchmark runs. It will be interesting to see how that chipset will compare to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the OnePlus Pad 2, performance-wise.
