It looks like Suzie and Sunny are braving the wilds in an exclusive clip for Sunny Season 1 Episode 5!
Sunny has been a veritable hit for Apple TV+ since the series premiered on July 10, 2024.
That show has garnered a certified fresh rating from Rotten Tomatoes.
The review aggregator site’s consensus of the series was, “Brightened up by Rashida Jones’ sly comedic timing, Sunny is a melancholy sci-fi series that positively glows.”
And we have to agree because each episode has been one wild ride after another.

Since its premiere, the series has remained in Apple TV+’s top ten, along with other incredible shows like Lady in the Lake and Land of Women.
At the start of Sunny, the series slowly begins to unfurl the deep, hidden layers of Suzie’s late husband, Masa.
The grieving widow first became aware of her husband’s clandestine past with the arrival of Sunny.
The home bot was one of Masa’s creations despite Suzie believing that Masa worked on refrigerators.
Through one drunken moment and another, Suzie slowly gained very few answers and a mountain of questions.
Along the way, she’s had concerning interactions with questionable people.
However, one of those encounters led to her meeting her new friend Mixxy, played by annie the clumsy.
From seeking out the “Dark Manual” to robot fight clubs and, most recently, eavesdropping on Yakuza members in a bathhouse, Suzie and Mixxy have been leaving no stone unturned.

But they’ve made it a point to ensure Sunny joins them for each dangerous and ludicrous adventure.
Unfortunately, Sunny and Mixxy got off to a bumpy start, and Sunny’s robot protocol doesn’t seem to help with her pettiness.
For a robot built to help humans with whatever they need, Sunny sure packs a lot of sarcasm.
And with this exclusive clip from Apple TV+, we see that the tension between Sunny and Mixxy is only growing.
When last we saw Suzie, she had just returned from the bathhouse with Mixxy and Sunny to make a startling discovery.
Hime and her men had ransacked Suzie’s home, destroying her late husband and son’s rooms.
Fans of the series are well aware that Rashida Jones‘s Suzie has been spending more and more time alone in her son’s room.
The actress delivered a heart-wrenching moment when the realization finally hit Suzie.
At Mixxy and Sunny’s beckoning, we know they urged Suzie to gather her strength to leave.

Now we know what happens next: an excursion through the dark woods.
And in the dark of night, Mixxy and Sunny still manage to find time to compete as Suzie’s best friend.
However, the “farm” referenced in the clip hasn’t been mentioned in the show yet.
We can only speculate where they could be heading, but maybe you’ll see something we didn’t.
