Poco has announced it will unveil the Poco M8 in India on January 8 at 12 PM local time.
The company said that the Poco M8 is “built for a new generation of users who seek performance with standout aesthetic,” and it will bring a fresh design-led approach to the mid-range smartphone segment in India.
Poco hasn’t detailed the M8’s specs sheet, but the brand said it will be 7.35mm thin and weigh 178 g, making it the “slimmest and lightest” smartphone in the segment.

Furthermore, an image we received from Poco reveals the M8’s design. The smartphone appears to have a curved screen and features a squircle-shaped camera island on the rear, with the primary camera using a 50MP sensor.
We don’t have all the details about this camera system, but Poco said it “aims to redefine design and durability standards in its segment” with the M8, so it remains to be seen what the M8 has in store for us.
