Samsung rolled out the Android 16-based One UI 8 stable update for the Galaxy S25 series<\/a> earlier this week in South Korea, and later released it in more countries<\/a>, including India, Germany, and the UK. Now, the update is seeding in the US.<\/p>\n

The One UI 8 stable update for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series has firmware version S93xUSQU5BY13\/S93xUOYN5BY13\/S93xUSQU5BY13, comes with the September 2025 Android security patch, and weighs over 3.8GB in size. But note that this is the download size for users running One UI 7 on their smartphones.<\/p>\n

If you live in the US and haven’t received the stable One UI 8 on your Galaxy S25 series smartphone, you can check for it manually by navigating to your phone’s Settings<\/i> > Software update<\/i> menu.<\/p>\n

Samsung recently shared the official One UI 8 stable update rollout schedule for eligible devices. You can check it here<\/a>. But note that it doesn’t apply to all regions.<\/p>\n
