In the years since, Peacock’s reimagined series Bel-Air<\/em><\/a> has given fans a dramatic take on the iconic sitcom with Jabari Banks<\/strong> taking on Smith’s role as Will (Jones, Smith and Medina all serve as producers).<\/p>\n

And as a gift to fans, producers have definitely been up to some good, enlisting Tatyana Ali <\/strong>(who starred as Ashley Banks), Vernee Watson-Johnson<\/strong> (who appeared as Will’s mom Vy), Daphne Maxwell Reid<\/strong> (the second actress to play Aunt Viv) and Joseph Marcell<\/strong> (beloved butler Geoffrey) to make cameos in the new series.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The cast as a whole has been good about staying in touch, Ali told E! News in 2023<\/a>, revealing, “We all have a text chain.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

And while we couldn’t get the story all about how they relive their years together, she told E!, “It’s a real blessing that anything that you make or are a part of making could mean that much to people.”<\/p>\n
