VMAs 2025: Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and More Pay Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne<\/p>\n

The Prince of Darkness was given a fitting VMAs sendoff.<\/p>\n

Aerosmith<\/a><\/strong>‘s Steven Tyler<\/strong>\u00a0and Joe Perry<\/strong>\u00a0led a musical tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne<\/a><\/strong> at the MTV Video Music Awards <\/a>Sept. 7, where alongside Yungblud<\/strong>\u00a0and Nuno Bettencourt<\/strong>\u00a0they honored the Black Sabbath<\/strong> cofounder with a medley of his biggest hits.<\/p>\n

But first, Ozzy’s son Jack Osbourne<\/strong> appeared in a video message<\/a> with his kids, saying, “I wish we could be there with you all tonight as you celebrate my dad’s amazing musical journey. I know for sure it would make him incredibly happy to see these great musicians carry on his legacy and help inspire the next generation of rockers.”<\/p>\n

Yungblud kicked off the show with a shirtless performance of \u201cCrazy Train,\u201d before moving into the ballad \u201cChanges.” The Aerosmith musicians <\/strong>then <\/strong>stepped into the spotlight for\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cMama, I\u2019m Coming Home,\u201d with Yungblud joining them at the end to form a powerful trio.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTime’s gone by, it seems to be \/ You could have been a better friend to me \/ Mama, I’m coming home,\u201d Steven sang, while a cross was illuminated by purple lights behind him. They shouted at the end of the tribute, \u201cOzzy forever!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
