Kelly Stafford<\/strong><\/a> doesn’t have the luxury of staying in the pocket.<\/p>\n The wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford<\/strong> knew that starting her podcast\u00a0The Morning After<\/em> and becoming a more public figure would result in a super-charged level of scrutiny\u2014of her and<\/em> her family\u2014but such is the life of a modern WAG these days.<\/p>\n A term, incidentally, that Kelly is all for redefining.<\/p>\n “I’m pretty old now in this game. Sometimes it\u2019s tough to figure out the similarities with the young one or the young wives coming in or girlfriends,” the 36-year-old said on an August episode of Sydney Leroux<\/strong> and Ali Riley<\/strong>‘s BFFR <\/em>podcast<\/a>. “But obviously, it\u2019s best if we do get together because that\u2019s the community.”<\/p>\n And “being the quarterback’s wife,” Kelly noted, “there is a responsibility there.”<\/p>\n Yet while the mother of four daughters with Matt\u2014twins Sawyer <\/strong>and Chandler<\/strong>, 8, plus Hunter<\/strong>, 7, and Tyler<\/strong>, 5\u2014always expected to manage the home team during football season, she’s also often the family’s first line of defense when it comes to protecting them from unnecessary roughness online.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
