This puts affordable devices in a tough spot as hitting their price points becomes quite a challenge.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/xiaomi_redmi_15_15_5g_and_15c_listed_on_a_polish_online_store_ahead_of_launch-news-68860.php\">Redmi 15 series<\/a> is a good example of that \u2013 in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/weekly_poll_which_if_any_of_the_redmi_15_models_would_you_buy_or_recommend_to_someone_else-news-68994.php\">last week\u2019s poll<\/a> we asked you whether you had an interest in any of the three models and the responses are less than positive. The predominant opinion is that these are too low end and that you can get more for your money with other models.<\/p>\n<p>Starting with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/xiaomi_redmi_15_5g-14036.php\">Redmi 15 5G<\/a>, this one has the best chance \u2013 some would get it for themselves, others would recommend it to a friend or family member. Having 5G connectivity helps it keep its head above water, though. Some would still recommend it as a cheap, basic phone, but about as many people would point to a different Redmi model as a better option.<\/p>\n<p>Cutting the 3.5mm headphone jack from the 4G and 5G phones was a mistake \u2013 people shopping in this price range are sensitive to losing basic features like this. The downgraded cameras made matters even worse.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"693\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/25\/08\/weekly-poll-results-redmi-15-series\/inline\/gsmarena_002.png\" alt=\"Weekly poll results: the Redmi 15 series is too low end to incite any interest\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/xiaomi_redmi_15c_4g-14005.php\">Redmi 15C 4G<\/a> is a phone that is tough to recommend \u2013 the conclusion from the poll is that you should either save up a bit and get a 15 4G or 15 5G or that you should look outside of the Redmi 15 series altogether.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"693\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/25\/08\/weekly-poll-results-redmi-15-series\/inline\/gsmarena_003.png\" alt=\"Weekly poll results: the Redmi 15 series is too low end to incite any interest\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Xiaomi\u2019s budget models have historically done well, offering good value for modest prices.
