Prince Harry Denies Claims He Punched Prince Andrew Over Comments About Meghan Markle<\/p>\n
Prince Harry<\/a><\/strong> is setting the record straight.<\/p>\n After a new book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,<\/em> alleged that Harry and Prince Andrew<\/a><\/strong> got into a physical altercation at a 2013 family gathering after Andrew made a remark about Meghan Markle <\/a><\/strong>behind Harry\u2019s back, the Duke of Sussex denied the claims.<\/p>\n \u201cI can confirm neither of those things are true,\u201d a spokesperson for Harry told People<\/a><\/em> in an August 2 statement. \u201cPrince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n According to an excerpt of Andrew Lowni<\/strong>\u2019s book\u2014a joint biography of Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson<\/strong>, which portrays him as a largely controversial figure\u2014published in the Daily Mail<\/a><\/em>, the \u201cheated argument\u201d stemmed from \u201csomething Andrew said behind Harry\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n Within moments, the biography alleged that \u201cpunches were thrown,\u201d leaving Andrew with a bloody nose. The author also went on to claim that Andrew privately suggested to Harry that his relationship with Meghan wouldn\u2019t last because she was, as he put it, an \u201copportunist.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
