The other day, I realized that I\u2019ve been wearing Warby Parker glasses<\/a> for 15 years<\/em>. (!) They always have cool shapes and fun colors, and you can try them on online. These Carrick ones<\/a> have been my go-to for ages, and I just got these Gus frames<\/a>, which are thin and silver. What glasses do you wear?<\/p>\n

Also, how cool are Mr. Boddington\u2019s new paperweights<\/a>? You can customize them by choosing the hand-drawn icons that fit your person. I pretended to make one each for Freddie<\/a> and me, above, and they\u2019re like mini artworks for your desk. They\u2019d make a great gift, too.<\/p>\n

When we were upstate, my friend Alison<\/a> made a salad, and her trick is to chop everything into really small pieces, even the greens. Once we mixed this one up \u2014 with apples, carrots and goat cheese \u2014 and added dressing, it was so delicious that I can\u2019t stop thinking about it.<\/p>\n

Finally, we just drove up to see my cousins in Maine, where we swam in cool water, browsed bookstores, and watched So I Married an Axe-Murderer<\/a>, the cult classic and our family\u2019s all-time comfort movie<\/a>.<\/p>\n
