File this under \u201cthe most random CoJ post ever,\u201d but the other day, Freddie<\/a> and I went to a party\u2026<\/p>\n

We snagged seats at the kitchen table and were snacking on potato chips<\/a>, when our friend launched into a great parenting story. \u201cAfter a long day with my kids, I desperately needed a few minutes of alone time,\u201d she told us. \u201cI decided to take a shower and told my six-year-old twins to play together in my bedroom. I looked them in the eyes and said, \u2018Come get me ONLY if it\u2019s an emergency.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Two minutes later \u2014\u00a0you guessed it \u2014\u00a0our friend heard loud knocking on the bathroom door. \u201cMom!!!!\u201d her daughter shouted. \u201cI need to tell you something!!!!!!\u201d She kept banging until her mom got out of the shower, naked and dripping, and cracked the door.<\/p>\n

\u201cMOM,\u201d said her daughter, her eyes wide.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo Pomeranians survived the Titanic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oh my gosh, at that kitchen table, Freddie and I could not stop laughing. Sometimes you just really need to share a cool fact. Bonus: it was true<\/a>!<\/p>\n
