Tony Hawk\u2019s Pro Skater 3+4<\/em><\/a><\/span> <\/em>will include some of the original songs found in the original PS2-era skating games. But not everything is making the leap to the remaster, including one Alien Ant Farm song, a move the band understands, but still called a \u201cbummer\u201d in a recent interview. <\/p>\n

THPS 3+4 Does Away With The OG 4’s Career Mode, Here’s Why<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to the BBC<\/em><\/a><\/span>, <\/em>as spotted by VGC<\/em><\/a><\/span>,\u00a0<\/em>earlier this week, Alien Ant Farm band members Terry Corso (guitarist) and Dryden Mitchell (lead singer) were asked about a post on the group\u2019s official Instagram account. The band\u2019s official account replied with a single sad emoji face to the news of THPS 3+4<\/em>‘s soundtrack reveal<\/a><\/span> and confirmation that \u201cWish\u201d won\u2019t be included. The song was included on THPS 3<\/em>‘s original soundtrack<\/a><\/span>. <\/p>\n

\u201cIs it a bummer that we weren\u2019t invited, or that they didn\u2019t include us? Absolutely,\u201d Corso told the BBC<\/em>. \u201cWe understand that they\u2019re trying to bring some new stuff onto these releases, and if you\u2019ve gotta make cuts, you\u2019ve gotta make cuts. I don\u2019t know why it had to be us, I feel like our song was really good on there, and it did really well.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI kind of get it,\u201d said Mitchell, \u201cThat skating feels a little bit more like the punk side and we\u2019re not a punk band, but I think that\u2019s what makes a cool soundtrack, is a collection, being different.\u201d<\/p>\n

If the band wants to blame anyone, they can directly blame Tony Hawk himself. In March<\/a><\/span>, the skateboard legend and star of the franchise explained that he was the one who made the call on removing some classic songs from the upcoming remaster in order to replace them with new tracks. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was my choice to pick some different songs by the same artists featured in THPS3+4<\/em>. I\u2019m hoping that discovery is half the fun, and a big reason that these soundtracks resonated in the first place. So listen and enjoy the ride.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is, as far as we know, not a single Alien Ant Farm song in THPS 3+4<\/em>. So either Activision and Tony Hawk included something like \u201cMovies\u201d in the upcoming remake, or he just doesn\u2019t like Alien Ant Farm very much, and they were totally cut from the game. <\/p>\n

Well, whatever<\/em>, Mr. Hawk, you can\u2019t stop me from including some Alien Ant Farm in this very post! Take that, buddy! Tony Hawk\u2019s Pro Skater 3+4 <\/em> is set to launch on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Switch 2, and PC on July 11, 2025.<\/p>\n
