Kaavia Wade<\/a><\/strong> is marking a major milestone.<\/p>\n Dwyane Wade<\/a><\/strong> and Gabrielle Union<\/a><\/strong> shared the exciting news that their 6-year-old daughter has graduated from kindergarten.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom brave beginnings to big milestones, Kaav, you\u2019ve learned, grown, and blazed your way through kindergarten,\u201d Gabrielle\u2014who tied the knot with the Miami Heat star in 2014\u2014captioned a joint Instagram post <\/a>June 14, alongside photos of their little girl sporting a blue cap and gown. \u201cNext up: 1st grade\u2014and a whole new world of discoveries!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe journey is just beginning,\u201d she continued, \u201cand we\u2019re seated right beside for the ride.\u201d<\/p>\n For her part, Gabrielle\u2014who is also stepmom to Dwyane\u2019s kids Zaire<\/strong>, 23, Zaya<\/a><\/strong>, 18, and Xavier<\/strong>, 11, in addition to his nephew Dahveon<\/strong>, 21\u2014has recently reflected on her decision to welcome Kaavia via surrogate back in 2018.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery single person\u2019s surrogacy journey is different,\u201d the Bring It On<\/em> actress told Marie Claire<\/a><\/em> last month. \u201cIt’s like any time there’s any kind of variance in the experience, it’s,\u00a0\u2018See, I told you. You shouldn’t explore this option to expand your family.\u2019 But for me, it felt like failure. My body failed. It just felt like such a f–king public humiliation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
