At least one launch game for <a data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/gaming\/nintendo\/nintendo-switch-2-the-new-system-update-sold-out-pre-orders-and-everything-else-you-need-to-know-143310479.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Nintendo's new console;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Nintendo&#8217;s new console<\/a> includes USB mouse support. <em>Nobunga&#8217;s Ambition: Awakening CE<\/em> lets you plug in a traditional pointing device and get down to business. According to developer Koei Tecmo, the mouse will &#8220;work seamlessly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Nobunga&#8217;s Ambition<\/em> will let you switch between controller and USB mouse on the fly. &#8220;Once you connect the USB mouse, a message will appear in the top left indicating that the mouse is connected,&#8221; Michi Ryu said in a video (translated from Japanese). &#8220;When the USB mouse is connected, it takes priority over the Joy-Con 2. As you can see, you can switch instantly. We emailed 2K Games to ask and will update this story if we hear back.<\/p>\n<p>To be fair, the Switch 2&#8217;s Joy-Con mouse support is solid. Engadget&#8217;s Sam Rutherford was <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/gaming\/nintendo\/switch-2-hands-on-i-think-nintendos-new-console-is-worth-the-450-130819785.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:pleasantly surprised with it;cpos:4;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">pleasantly surprised with it<\/a> in his hands-on. Still, it&#8217;s nice to have options. (And let&#8217;s be honest, a real mouse will be hard to beat.)<\/p>\n<p>Although it wasn&#8217;t a well-known fact, the original Switch also supported USB mice. For example, Nintendo&#8217;s visual programming tool Game Builder Garage <a data-i13n=\"cpos:5;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/en-americas-support.nintendo.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/55524\/~\/game-builder-garage-faq#s2q4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:worked;cpos:5;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">worked<\/a> with them.
