Oppo has made the A5, A5 5G, and A5x (which leaked recently<\/a>) official today on its international site. The A5 is not to be confused with the Chinese model<\/a> that launched back in March, as it looks completely different.<\/p>\n

The A5 has a 6.67-inch LCD screen with 720×1604 resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,000-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 4G chipset, a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP monochrome camera next to it, a 5 MP selfie snapper, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.<\/p>\n

It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top. It will be offered in four RAM\/storage combos: 6\/128GB, 8\/128GB, 4\/256GB, and 8\/256GB. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. It will be for sale in Midnight Purple, Aurora Green, and Mist White.<\/p>\n

The A5 5G has the same screen but with 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate, the same rear camera setup, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and the same battery capacity and charging spec. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. It will be offered in three versions: 4\/128GB, 6\/128GB, and 8\/256GB in Mist White and Aurora Green. It uses LPDDR4X RAM like the 4G model, but UFS 2.2 storage.<\/p>\n

Finally, we have the A5x. This one has the exact same specs as the A5 4G, but only a single 32 MP rear camera. The only other differences between the two are the A5x’s colorways – Midnight Blue and Laser White – and the RAM\/storage combos, which for this model are 4\/64GB, 4\/128GB, 6\/128GB, and 8\/128GB.<\/p>\n
