They should give slightly when pressed and smell fruity at the stem. Buy your mangos a few days ahead if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- .block-quick-tips__inner --><\/div>\n<p> <!-- .block-quick-tips --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-make-mango-salsa-salmon\">How to Make Mango Salsa Salmon<\/h2>\n<p>There\u2019s just something magical about seafood paired with fruit salsa. I based this off my <a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/mango-salsa\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">5-minute mango salsa<\/a> recipe, and pairing it with salmon takes things to a whole new level. <\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list is-style-fancy\">\n<li><strong>Mix the Spice Blend:<\/strong> In a small bowl, mix the\u00a0brown sugar,\u00a0salt,\u00a0pepper,\u00a0garlic powder, and\u00a0paprika.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make the Salsa:<\/strong> In a large bowl, add\u00a0the diced ripe mango,\u00a0red onion, red bell pepper,\u00a0jalape\u00f1o,\u00a0fresh lime juice,\u00a0fresh chopped cilantro, and\u00a0salt and pepper to taste\u00a0and mix well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prep Salmon to Cook:<\/strong> Brush the<strong> <\/strong>salmon filets\u00a0with the\u00a0lime juice\u00a0and rub with the seasoning mixture.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pan Sear:<\/strong> Heat\u00a0olive oil\u00a0in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the prepared salmon to the skillet skin side down. Cook for 5 minutes, then gently flip it over and cook for another 5 minutes. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit and it flakes easily with a fork.
