He\u2019s also increasing tariffs on Chinese goods by more than 100%, forcing both Chinese companies like Shein and American giants like Amazon to <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/podcast\/damn-the-cluely-ragebait-got-us\/\">adjust plans and hike prices<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CNBC reports that Temu was affected as well, with U.S. shoppers seeing \u201cimport charges\u201d between 130% and 150% added to their bills. Now, however, the company is <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/05\/02\/temu-halts-shipments-direct-from-china-as-de-minimis-tariff-rule-ends-.html\">no longer shipping goods directly<\/a> from China to the United States.
