B.J. Novak Shares Secret to Decades-Long Friendship With Mindy Kaling<\/p>\n

B.J. Novak<\/a> <\/strong>has found his BFF soup snake in Mindy Kaling<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Twenty years after meeting on the set of The Office<\/em><\/a>, the former costars remain closer than ever. In fact, they often hang out together, with B.J. describing Mindy as “way up there” on his list of best friends.<\/p>\n

“She is just so funny and interesting,” B.J. exclusively told\u00a0Erin Lim Rhodes<\/a><\/strong> and Will Marfuggi<\/a><\/strong> during the E! @ Poker Face <\/em>Season Two Premiere livestream event May 1, “that I’ll talk to her as long as she’ll talk to me.”<\/p>\n

He even noted that he spoke to Mindy about his part on the Peacock series.<\/p>\n

“I was driving somewhere with my friend Mindy Kaling<\/a>\u2014no big deal\u2014and I told her last night about the show,” B.J. shared. “I described my character and we got to the to the restaurant before I could finish.”<\/p>\n

He continued, “So, I can’t even describe my role because it’s so complicated, but it was really, really cool.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
