Now, if you ask Grok for recommendations, it\u2019ll give more personalized responses \u2014 assuming you\u2019ve used it enough to allow it to \u201clearn\u201d your preferences. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ChatGPT has long had a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/04\/04\/chatgpt-everything-to-know-about-the-ai-chatbot\/\">similar memory feature<\/a>, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/04\/10\/openai-updates-chatgpt-to-reference-your-other-chats\/\">recently upgraded<\/a> to reference a user\u2019s entire chat history. Gemini, too, has <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/11\/19\/googles-gemini-chatbot-now-has-memory\/\">persistent memory<\/a> to tailor its replies to individual people.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMemories are transparent,\u201d reads a post from the official Grok account on X. \u201c[Y]ou can see exactly what Grok knows and choose what to forget.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Grok now remembers your conversations.
