The victims of a <\/span>helicopter crash in New York City<\/span><\/a> have been identified.<\/span><\/p>\n Agust\u00edn Escobar<\/strong>, a chief executive for technology company Siemens, his wife <\/span>Merce Camprubi Montal <\/strong>and their three children\u2014aged 4, 5 and 11 years old\u2014were among the six people killed in the Hudson River crash, law enforcement officials confirmed to <\/span>ABC News<\/span><\/a>. The family was visiting New York City from Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n The pilot, who also died, has not been publicly identified.<\/span><\/p>\n At around 3:15 p.m. local time on April 10, the New York City Fire Department received a call that the Bell 306 helicopter had crashed into the river that borders Manhattan, officials told <\/span>NBC News<\/span><\/a>. Later in the day, New York City Mayor <\/span>Eric Adams <\/strong>confirmed that all six passengers had died.<\/span><\/p>\n “We’re praying for the families,” he said at a press conference, adding that he had “gratitude to the rescuers and the courage that was displayed and their dedication.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
