Christina \u201cTinx\u201d Najjar<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>is weighing in on online speculation.<\/span><\/p>\n Ahead of the May release of her debut novel <\/span>Hotter in the Hamptons<\/span><\/em><\/a>, the self-professed \u201cBig Sister\u201d of TikTok reacted to allegations that she didn\u2019t write the fiction book herself.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhat if someone else wrote it?\u201d one user<\/span> <\/strong>said in an April 2 <\/span>TikTok<\/span><\/a>. \u201cWhat if the real author was never acknowledged? What if they were hired to stay invisible? What does it say about capitalism and creativity that we’ve normalized ghost writing in the name of convenience, content and clout?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The user then showed a screen recording of writer and former <\/span>Nylon<\/span><\/em> editor-in-chief <\/span>Gabrielle Korn<\/strong>\u2019s <\/span>personal website<\/span><\/a>, which lists Tinx\u2019s book under the Ghostwriting section of her Manuscript Services page.<\/span><\/p>\n However, Tinx weighed in with her truth about the book, which features a romance between two women.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOf course I hired a collaborator who\u2019s queer,\u201d Tinx commented on the video. \u201cI am not a lesbian.
