Is this America\u2019s best kept secret??<\/p>\n

I cannot believe this super quick entry trick into the US has been around since 2014, with Visa Waiver countries able to use it since 2016. Why has no one told me about this before?!<\/p>\n

We just visited the US and got through Customs in a jiffy thanks to the MPC, Mobile Passport Control<\/a>, app. It\u2019s free to download and you have a separate entry lane to expedite you through the airport.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s available in 51 US airports, including 33 international airports and is a separate lane for U.S. Citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents, Canadian B1\/B2 and Returning\u00a0Visa Waiver Program<\/a>\u00a0Applicants.<\/p>\n

I fall into the latter category, but my latest trip in 2025 was the first time I used the app.<\/p>\n

Download it from the App Store onto your phone, complete the information, and select the airport you will be arriving into. Then when you land at that airport and turn your phone on, you click \u201cYes, Submit Now\u201d and it will ask you to take a selfie. <\/p>\n

This photo proves you are actually in the US. From then you have four hours to complete passport control. You will see the MPC lane, along with Visitor lanes and US Citizen lanes.<\/p>\n

We were all of five minutes whizzing through Houston<\/a> last month!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s super handy for those of us connecting to other flights and is synced with your ESTA Visa Waiver<\/a> and Passport details.<\/p>\n
