Taylor Lautner<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0isn’t letting anyone tell Selena Gomez<\/strong><\/a> she’s not perfect.\u00a0<\/p>\n The\u00a0Twilight<\/em> star defended the Only Murders in the Building<\/em> actress from trolls, re-posting a side-by-side photo of Selena, one at the 2024 SAG Awards and one at the same awards show in 2025. The post\u2014shared to his Instagram Story Feb. 26\u2014also included mean comments, including, “Oh she big big” on the 2024 photo and “She looked better thicc” on the 2025 photo.\u00a0<\/p>\n “It’s a cruel world full of hate out there,\u201d Taylor wrote on top of the image. \u201cYou can never please everyone nor should you have to. In my experience it doesn’t make the words sting less, it just refocuses you onto what matters. And it sure isn’t the shape, color, or appearance of your body. Daily reminder to all of us to not forget how beautiful you are inside and out… and to be a little nicer.”<\/p>\n The actor\u2014who has also been open about how body shamers affected him after he played ripped werewolf Jacob Black\u2014topped off his post by adding Selena’s own song “Who Says.\u201d The 2011 pop anthem shares an empowering message, full of lyrics like, “I’m no beauty queen, I’m just beautiful me,” and “Who says, who says you’re not perfect?”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
