One batch makes about 24 to 25 small cookies. Have your kids help unwrap the Hershey kisses and place them in the center of the warm cookie!<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list is-style-fancy\">\n<li><strong>Combine:<\/strong> Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Add the butter, peanut butter, brown, and granulated sugar to a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat with the paddle attachment for 2-3 minutes on medium-high speed, until light and fluffy.\u00a0 Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Scrape down the bottom and sides of the bowl as needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Whisk:<\/strong> Add the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder to a medium bowl, then whisk to combine.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add:<\/strong> Add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mix:<\/strong> Mix just until combined and all the flour is absorbed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cookie Scoop:<\/strong> Scoop the dough using a small <a href=\"https:\/\/www.target.com\/p\/1-5tbsp-stainless-steel-cookie-scoop-gray-figmint-8482\/-\/A-87710322#lnk=sametab\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cookie scoop<\/a> or 1 \u00bd tablespoon portions. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Smooth:<\/strong> Roll each scoop into balls with your hands. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Bake:<\/strong> Roll the cookie dough balls in a bowl with about \u00bd cup of granulated sugar. Add more as needed to coat all of them evenly.\u00a0 Place the dough balls on the prepared sheet pans, leaving about 2 inches between them. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the tops are beginning to crack and the edges of the cookies have set.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add Chocolate Kiss:<\/strong> Remove the cookies from the oven and then immediately place an unwrapped chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie.
