Legendary actress Jane Fonda<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>will be presented with the annual Life Achievement Award this year, SAG-AFTRA\u2019s highest honor. And after 65 years in the industry\u2014and a list of accolades that includes two Oscars, eight Golden Globes and an Emmy, not to mention her tireless off-screen activism\u2014the 87-year-old’s determination to change the world through her work is what she values more than any award.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have just always felt that I wasn\u2019t good enough,\u201d Fonda told Variety<\/a><\/em> in an interview published Feb. 19. \u201cThat has made the difference\u2014that I was never satisfied, that I always wanted to get better. I know why I made the mistakes I did, and I know what was in my heart. And so I really worked at it, and I\u2019m proud of myself that I didn\u2019t settle.\u201d<\/p>\n
