The marketplace, which enables people in the EU to sideload apps outside of Apple\u2019s App Store, described it as the \u201cfirst Apple-approved porn app.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, Apple says it\u2019s \u201cdeeply concerned\u201d about Hot Tub, which as <em>TechCrunch <\/em><a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1\" class=\"no-affiliate-link\" href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/02\/03\/hot-tub-the-first-native-iphone-porn-app-arrives-in-eu\/\" data-original-link=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/02\/03\/hot-tub-the-first-native-iphone-porn-app-arrives-in-eu\/\"><\/a>, is the first time a porn app has been available natively for the iPhone. \u201cWe are deeply concerned about the safety risks that hardcore porn apps of this type create for EU users, especially kids,\u201d an Apple spokesperson said in a statement. \u201cThis app and others like it will undermine consumer trust and confidence in our ecosystem that we have worked for more than a decade to make the best in the world.
