The recipe uses pantry staples, just make sure you have the cereal. I always keep a few extra boxes of Chex cereal in my food storage so I can make these sweet treats when my kid\u2019s friends come over! You can find the exact measurements in the recipe card at the bottom of the post. <\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list is-style-fancy\">\n<li><strong>Combine:<\/strong> Add\u00a0the cereal\u00a0to a large bowl. Gently stir to combine the two flavors and set aside.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stir: <\/strong>Add\u00a0the powdered sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon\u00a0to a small bowl. Stir to combine and set aside.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Melt:<\/strong> Add the butter\u00a0into a medium-sized saucepan over <strong>low heat<\/strong>. Once the butter starts to melt, stir in\u00a0the chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the mixture is melted and smooth. <strong>Make sure to use low heat<\/strong> so as not to burn the chocolate!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coat:<\/strong> Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal in the bowl and gently stir until the cereal is evenly coated. Then, transfer the coated cereal to a large Ziplock bag.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shake:<\/strong> Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the coated cereal in the bag. Seal the bag and shake to coat the cereal well.
