Heeeeeeeere\u2019s <\/span>Jack Nicholson<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The 87-year-old\u2014who has not been seen in public in almost two years\u2014made a rare and heartwarming cameo with his daughter <\/span>Lorraine Nicholson<\/strong> in a recent holiday photo roundup.<\/span><\/p>\n In a picture from her Jan. 2 <\/span>Instagram<\/span><\/a> post, the 34-year-old sat next to the three-time <\/span>Oscar<\/span><\/a> winner, wrapping her arms around her dad\u2019s shoulders while he clasped her arm and leaned into her with a small grin. Jack sported a multicolored, striped button-down shirt while Lorraine donned a long-sleeved black top.<\/span><\/p>\n The pair shared a warm embrace while seated in what appeared to be his study, as they were in front of a bookshelf that housed Jack\u2019s multiple Academy Awards, <\/span>Golden Globes<\/span><\/a> and countless other accolades from throughout his career.<\/span><\/p>\n For Lorraine, her close bond with her dad played a role in her decision to pursue acting.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s my mentor,\u201d she told <\/span>Us Weekly<\/span><\/em><\/a> in 2011. \u201cI\u2019m going into the family business because we\u2019re so close and he\u2019s such an inspiration.
