He was 16.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Jefferson County Coroner&#8217;s Office, Meek sustained blunt force trauma when he fell from a moving vehicle at around 10:45 p.m. local time on Dec. 19. He died two days later at UAB Hospital, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wvtm13.com\/article\/vestavia-teen-hudson-meek-dies\/63264895\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NBC affiliate WTVM reported<\/a>. His death is under investigation by Vestavia Hills police.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight,\u201d read a family statement posted to his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/hudson_meek\/p\/DD3T-_1s8X2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram<\/a>. \u201cHis 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpecific details regarding a Celebration of Hudson\u2019s Life to be held on December 28,\u201d the message continued, \u201cas well as how to contribute to a scholarship in Hudson\u2019s memory at Vestavia Hills High School in lieu of flowers, will follow.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1411531\/baby-driver-actor-hudson-joseph-meek-dead-at-16?cmpid=rss-syndicate-genericrss-us-top_stories\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hollywood has lost a star on the rise.
