Still, the scene delivers the gruesome, plastic-sheeted spectacle fans have come to expect. <\/p>\n

And Dexter\u2019s choice to ditch his trophy-taking habit after Harry\u2019s warning shows a rare moment of self-restraint \u2014 at least for now.<\/p>\n

The parallel storylines of Jimmy Powell\u2019s kidnapping and Harry\u2019s flashbacks to his work with Laura tie the episodes together thematically. <\/p>\n

Both explore the cost of sacrifice and the moral compromises people make in the name of justice. <\/p>\n
