Jim Carrey<\/strong><\/a>‘s return to Hollywood has been b-e-a-utiful.<\/span><\/p>\n In fact, taking a break from Tinseltown proved to be exactly what the\u00a0<\/span>Sonic the Hedgehog 3<\/span><\/em>\u00a0actor needed to give him a new perspective on his career.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I think whenever you step away from something\u2014even if it’s something you love\u2014you get a new appreciation for it,” Jim exclusively told\u00a0<\/span>E! News<\/span><\/em>‘\u00a0<\/span>Francesca Amiker<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on Dec. 16. “A different angle on the whole thing.”<\/span><\/p>\n As the 62-year-old explained, he’s never taken himself “too seriously,” so he enjoyed the time away.<\/span><\/p>\n Plus, the move gave his fans a chance to actually miss him.<\/span><\/p>\n “I also value getting out of people’s faces,” Jim said\u00a0<\/span>in the interview, airing on\u00a0<\/span>E! News<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Dec. 17, at 11 p.m.\u00a0<\/span>“I mean, some people just want to be in people’s faces all the time, and I don’t, so I like to give them a rest.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
