However, she changed her mind after an unexpected phone call from the Hitch<\/em> actor, who gave her a ring while she was on the set of <\/span>True Jackson, VP<\/span><\/em><\/a>, which ran from 2008 to 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI get a call from this really, really obscure number,” Keke shared on the Nov. 19 episode of <\/span>The Toast<\/span><\/em><\/a> podcast. “And I’m like, \u2018What? This is weird, I’m not answering this.\u2019”<\/span><\/p>\n After missing the call, the <\/span>Nope <\/span><\/em>actress\u2014who shares son <\/span>Leodis<\/strong><\/a>, 21 months, with ex <\/span>Darius Jackson<\/strong><\/a>\u2014realized she had a voicemail from Will, who encouraged her to power through after learning of her situation from her lawyer.<\/span><\/p>\n “Hey, Keke. It’s Will,\u2019\u201d Keke said while impersonating the Oscar winner. \u201c\u2018We’re over here doing <\/span>Karate Kid<\/span><\/em> with [my son] <\/span>Jaden<\/strong><\/a>. I just want to let you know I talked to [your lawyer]. He let me know everything you’re going through, and I want you to know sometimes it’s hard being the first, but you’ll get through. Just keep staying focused, love on your family, and y’all gonna be good.\u2019”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
