Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks underwent successful surgery at a Salt Lake City hospital on Wednesday for a fractured right fibula and dislocated ankle.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Hendricks was injured in a non-contact play during the third quarter of a 110-102 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 28. He lost his footing near the basket and landed with his right leg pointing in an unnatural position.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Hendricks was stretchered off the court and will miss the rest of the season.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The second-year forward averaged 4.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in three games (all starts) this season. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Hendricks was selected ninth overall in the 2023 draft out of UCF. He averaged 7.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 40 games (23 starts).<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

The Jazz are 1-6 entering Thursday’s road game against the Milwaukee Bucks (1-6).<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
