How\u2019s everyone feeling about the election tomorrow? I saw an Instagram post that said \u201cnauseously optimistic,\u201d which pretty much sums up our household right now.<\/p>\n

This weekend, however, all sprints were lifted by the NYC Marathon, which always feels like the most glorious day in the city.<\/p>\n

\"nyc<\/p>\n

Everyone comes together\u2026<\/p>\n

\"nyc<\/p>\n

\u2026people are hilarious\u2026<\/p>\n

\"nyc<\/p>\n

..and beyond strong.<\/p>\n

\"nyc<\/p>\n

The vibes are GOOD.<\/p>\n

\"nyc<\/p>\n

I loved this duo \u2014 her shirt says \u201cErica,\u201d his shirt says \u201cGo Erica,\u201d and he\u2019s holding a sign of her face, maybe after a run? Before a run? When signing up for the marathon? Love whatever is happening.<\/p>\n

My friend Liz ran for Fred\u2019s Team<\/a> to raise money for cancer research, in memory of her dear friend Zophie.<\/p>\n

\"nyc<\/p>\n

How cool is the sign her children made of her huge smile?<\/p>\n

\"nyc<\/p>\n

What a beautiful, inspiring day. There are good people in the world; as Fred Rogers says, look for the helpers. Fingers so tightly crossed for tomorrow. xoxoxoxo<\/p>\n
