For now, Tyson remains a free man in his conscience; he is not yet a killer. Joining forces with Dwight means the possibility is always within reach, but for now, he\u2019s free of that guilt.<\/p>\n

How long will this dynamic last amidst so much chaos?<\/p>\n

Dwight\u2019s Loyalty Runs Deep \u2013 But At What Cost?<\/h2>\n

Tulsa King<\/a> Season 2 Episode 8 solidifies one of Dwight Manfredi\u2019s strongest traits: loyalty. Dwight\u2019s brand of loyalty isn\u2019t just lip service \u2014 it\u2019s a core part of his identity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cUnder New Management\u201d illustrates how he treats his crew as a found family<\/a>, with Tyson as a prime example.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dwight saw something in Tyson from the beginning, and despite Tyson\u2019s youth and inexperience, he\u2019s kept him close. But loyalty isn\u2019t free, and Dwight drives home to Tyson what it means to be part of his inner circle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When Tyson made a reckless move that could\u2019ve ended disastrously, Dwight didn\u2019t let it slide. <\/p>\n

In any other \u201cfamily,\u201d that sort of half-baked decision-making would have spelled the end for Tyson, but Dwight operates differently.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dwight treats loyalty with a measure of fairness that\u2019s rarely seen in organized crime dramas. And yet, his dedication to Tyson and the rest of his crew has limits.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If this keeps happening, we could see Dwight grappling with the balance between being supportive and enabling dangerous behavior \u2014 a balance he has to master if he\u2019s going to survive in this messy web of alliances.<\/p>\n

Yet, it\u2019s clear they have unfinished business, and their strained relationship feels like a missed opportunity. <\/p>\n

Tina\u2019s character has the potential for so much depth \u2014 she\u2019s got the grit and determination that would make her an ideal ally for Dwight or at least a source of meaningful conflict.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But as it stands, the show seems intent on keeping her at a distance. Is this the last we\u2019ll see of Tina? I can\u2019t help but hope there\u2019s more in store, especially given how thin the female cast is on Tulsa King.<\/em><\/p>\n

Where Are Tulsa King\u2019s Women?<\/h2>\n

Here\u2019s the elephant in the room: where are the fully fleshed-out women in Tulsa King?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Look at shows like Yellowstone<\/a>, where Beth Dutton is a powerhouse, or 1883 and 1923<\/a>, where the Dutton women hold their ground and shape the narrative as much as the men. Even on Lioness<\/a>, a female-driven series, the focus on women is sharp and complex.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But here in Tulsa, it\u2019s a different story. Women are barely more than set pieces, and it\u2019s honestly baffling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got Stacy, whose motivations seemed to change with the wind, Manny\u2019s wife Clara, who\u2019s written as a strong woman but is largely sidelined, and Tina, who\u2019s always a step away from the action.<\/p>\n

The irony? <\/p>\n

Tulsa King <\/em>could benefit hugely from a character with the same ruthless determination we see in Beth Dutton or the moral complexity of Dwight\u2019s sister, Joanne. But instead, we\u2019re left with a \u201cboys\u2019 club\u201d setup that doesn\u2019t add anything fresh to the genre.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even the FBI angle, which could have introduced a formidable female antagonist or ally, defaults back to male agents confronting Dwight. <\/p>\n

Imagine the dynamic if a woman had been leading that charge, using a feminine connection to Dwight, as Stacy did, to play on his weaknesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This show is practically crying out for a female character who\u2019s as layered and unapologetically ambitious as the men.<\/p>\n

A Tangled Web of Betrayal and Power Struggles<\/h2>\n

Now, let\u2019s talk about the power struggles tearing Dwight\u2019s world apart. <\/p>\n

Vince in New York has his eye on Chickie\u2019s position, Chickie\u2019s got it out for Dwight, and Bill is out for blood over Cal\u2019s mess with Jackie Ming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a recipe for chaos, and at least one life was already lost. RIP, Jimmy.<\/p>\n

Each character tries to pull strings, but no one seems to understand how tangled this web has become. And, of course, Dwight is smack in the middle, somehow managing to keep his head above water.<\/p>\n

Tyson thought it was Bill who ordered the hit on Dwight, but as it turns out, nefarious Jackie Ming is behind the chaos. Jackie\u2019s a wildcard, and he\u2019s different from the other gangsters in Dwight\u2019s world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most of these men have a softer, more human side, which is part of what makes Tulsa King work \u2014 it\u2019s gritty but with a hint of vulnerability in its characters. Jackie, though? He\u2019s ruthless, with no regard for the code that the rest of these men live by.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His presence brings a colder, more cutthroat element into the series that throws everything out of balance and puts everything we hold dear in jeopardy.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s not just another villain; he\u2019s a disruption to the entire dynamic of the show, and it makes me wonder how long he\u2019ll stick around.<\/p>\n

Dwight faces threats from every angle \u2014 New York, Tulsa, and even within his own crew. <\/p>\n

If these men could put aside their egos for a minute, they might be able to find a way forward, but as it stands. Was the talk between Cal and Bill a hint that this might be accomplished?<\/p>\n

Manny\u2019s recent heist at the casino is just one more wrench in an already dysfunctional machine to the point that this episode leaves us with the question: who will come out on top?<\/p>\n

With everything going on, it\u2019s safe to say that wherever Tulsa King takes us next, it will be anywhere but boring.<\/p>\n
