It\u2019s been almost a year since we last saw Alexandra Daddario as Rowan Fielding in the Mayfair Witches, but Season 2 is coming.<\/p>\n

Mayfair Witches Season 1<\/a> ended with some bombshell moments, from Rowan\u2019s father\u2019s identity being uncovered to the birth of Rowan\u2019s child, and ultimately, the powerful line, \u201cYou can\u2019t control me,\u201d which resonates with all of Rowan\u2019s character.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This exciting story will continue in Mayfair Witches Season 2 as we follow Rowan and Lasher (Jack Huston<\/a>) in their next journey together, and it\u2019s going to be one for the books. <\/p>\n

There are also some new faces joining the cast, so let\u2019s dive in and see what Season 2 has in store for us.<\/p>\n

\n\tWho is in the Mayfair Witches Season 2 Cast?\u00a0<\/h2>\n

We can surely expect some returning faces in Mayfair Witches Season 2<\/a>, including Alexandria Daddario as Rowan Fielding and Jack Huston as Lasher.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Other expected returning faces include Tongayi Chirisa as Ciprien and Harry Hamlin as Cortland Mayfair.<\/p>\n

In addition to familiar faces, at least three new faces are joining the cast as guest stars and recurring characters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alyssa Jirrels<\/a> is joining as Moira Mayfair, Rowan\u2019s cousin and Tessa\u2019s sister. Moira is also a mind-reader; you can bet she\u2019s not happy about what happened to Tessa in Season 1<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Joining Jirrels in the new cast members are Thora Birch as Gifford Mayfair and Ted Levine as Julien Mayfair. <\/p>\n

Gifford is noted to be a tarot reader who spends a lot of time at her lakehouse, while Julien is Cortland\u2019s father and a master manipulator.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jirrels will be a recurring character in Season 2, while Levine and Birch will guest star throughout the season.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhat\u2019s the Plot of Mayfair Witches Season 2?\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Season 1 strayed from a lot of the original plot of Anne Rice\u2019s Lives of the Mayfair Witches series, so it\u2019s hard to say precisely what will happen in Season 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the novel series, Rowan travels to Europe with Lasher, who has embodied himself in Rowan\u2019s newborn baby turned grown man. <\/p>\n

Mayfair women are dying of mysterious hemorrhages, and Rowan has a strange genetic anomaly.<\/p>\n

While Rowan is still learning about herself, Lasher is trying to produce more versions of himself, though he is largely unsuccessful.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know for sure which aspects will be kept the same and which will change in Season 2.<\/p>\n

But showrunners Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford teased what was to come with Entertainment Weekly<\/a> last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spalding teased that they \u201chave only so many episodes,\u201d but they will \u201cmine\u201d the book \u201cfor the wonders, riches, and strangeness that is there.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spalding added, \u201cThere\u2019s a whole section in the book where Rowan is in Europe, and there\u2019s some stuff in Scotland, and there\u2019s a bunch of generations in Scotland.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, we touched on Scotland in this season, but that has been really exciting to think about for the second season,\u201d Spalding continued.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen is the Mayfair Witches Season 2 Premiere Date?<\/h2>\n

We finally have a set premiere date for the Mayfair Witches Season 2!<\/p>\n

Fans initially expected that the second season would premiere in late 2024. We know that that won\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n

But the good is that the show will return in very early 2025!<\/p>\n

During a panel at New York Comic Con on October 17, it was announced that Mayfair Witches Season 2 will premiere on January 5.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s almost a full two years after the release of Season 1, which dropped on January 8, 2023.<\/p>\n

Of course, the show and the network can\u2019t really be faulted for that, as the writers\u2019 and actors\u2019 strikes<\/a> delayed pretty much every 2024 production schedule.<\/p>\n

Fans were hopeful that, given the extra-long wait, the Comic Con panel would yield more in the way of information about season 2.<\/p>\n

But hey, the premiere date is enough for now.<\/p>\n

\n\tHow Many Episodes are in Mayfair Witches Season 2?\u00a0<\/h2>\n

There is no official word on how many episodes will be on Season 2 of Mayfair Witches, but Season 1 had eight episodes, so Season 2 will likely have a similar amount.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most new series have approximately eight episodes, so we expect that Mayfair Witches Season 2 will also have roughly eight episodes.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s too early for a trailer to be released now, but we hope one will come soon!\u00a0<\/p>\n

With Season 2\u2019s release date already announced, it surely won\u2019t be long until we get a trailer for the anticipated thriller.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhere Can You Watch Mayfair Witches Season 2?<\/h2>\n

Like Season 1, Season 2 will air on AMC and stream on AMC+<\/a>. We will likely see one episode per week like last season, though that is not certain now.<\/p>\n

For now, we can rewatch Season 1 of the hit drama through AMC+\u2019s streaming service and relive our favorite (or least favorite) memories from Season 1 of Mayfair Witches.<\/p>\n

After all, who doesn\u2019t want to relive the treasured dancing scene in the never-ending house? Well, probably Rowan, but we can\u2019t say for sure.<\/p>\n
