Developer Freebird Games and publisher Serenity Forge announced this week that ports for the consoles will arrive on October 8 for $10. At the same time, they released a new installment in the series \u2014 a short called <em>Just a To the Moon Series Beach Episode <\/em>that offers one of the series\u2019 endings. It\u2019s available now on <a data-i13n=\"cpos:1;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2159210\/Just_a_To_the_Moon_Series_Beach_Episode\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Steam;cpos:1;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>To the Moon<\/em> is a time travel adventure that follows two doctors who have developed a way to help dying patients fulfill their greatest dreams by taking them back in time within their minds. The patient at the heart of the story is an elderly man named Johnny, whose final wish is to go to the moon. The game, which originally launched for PC, has become beloved over the years and eventually <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2016-08-04-to-the-moon-hd-ios-android-2017.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:expanded to mobile;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\"><\/a> and <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:3;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2019-09-12-to-the-moon-nintendo-switch-january-16-2020.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Nintendo Switch;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:3;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\"><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Freebird Games followed it up with another episode called <em>Finding Paradise<\/em>, which focuses on a different patient, and the time-travel murder mystery, <em>Imposter Factory. <\/em>There\u2019s also a heartfelt short called <em>A Bird Story<\/em>. They\u2019re all tear-jerkers.
