On September 17, the previously PS5-exclusive RPG Final Fantasy 16<\/em><\/a><\/span> finally arrives on PC. Of course, that means that people will start to mod the game, adding or tweaking content. But if you are one of those modders, please know that the game\u2019s producer doesn\u2019t want any naughty stuff, okay?<\/p>\n

Final Fantasy 16 <\/em>is Square Enix\u2019s latest entry of its award-winning RPG franchise. It arrived on PlayStation 5 in June 2023 to mostly positive reviews. We here at Kotaku <\/em>enjoyed the game\u2019s combat<\/a><\/span>, wicked cool pause menu<\/a><\/span>, and the music. However, it did a poor job of handling heavy topics<\/a><\/span> like slavery and for some felt like a superficial entry in the series. Perhaps, though, your biggest FF16<\/em> complaint is a lack of nudity. Well, modders will soon be able to remedy that issue, but don\u2019t tell the game\u2019s producer Naoki Yoshida.<\/p>\n

While talking to PC Gamer<\/em> <\/a><\/span>about the upcoming FF16 <\/em>PC port<\/a><\/span>, Yoshida was asked what mods the producer would want to see the community create. Instead of saying what he wanted, he pleaded with modders and fans to not be \u201cinappropriate.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIf we said \u2018It\u2019d be great if someone made XYZ,\u2019 it might come across as a request, so I\u2019ll avoid mentioning any specifics here,\u201d Yoshida told PC Gamer. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe only thing I will say is that we definitely don\u2019t want to say anything offensive or inappropriate, so please don\u2019t make or install anything like that.\u201d <\/p>\n

Yoshida either didn\u2019t elaborate on what kind of mods would be \u201coffensive\u201d or \u201cinappropriate\u201d or PC Gamer <\/em>didn\u2019t ask because that\u2019s all the info we get from the interview. <\/p>\n

So, go ahead and make your naked Clive mods, or add a sexy and weird Star Wars <\/em>alien to FF16 <\/em>on PC. Just know that Yoshida will be very disappointed in you for not listening to him. <\/p>\n
