Mandatory Credit: Rick Scuteri-Imagn Images <\/span><\/div>\n<\/section>\nEugenio Suarez hit two home runs and Randal Grichuk, Ketel Marte and Adrian Del Castillo also went deep as the Arizona Diamondbacks completed a two-game sweep against the Texas Rangers with a 14-4 victory on Wednesday in Phoenix.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Marte finished with three hits, including a double, and drove in four runs for Arizona (82-64), which won its third straight game and scored in every inning except for the third. Suarez finished 4-for-4 with two RBIs and four runs scored, and Grichuk had three RBIs.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The Diamondbacks recorded a season-high 12 extra-base hits and outhit the Rangers 16-9.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Marcus Semien homered for Texas (70-76), which lost for the third time in its past five games.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Diamondbacks starter Merrill Kelly allowed three runs on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts before exiting the game with an apparent injury with a runner on and no outs in the fifth inning.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Dylan Floro (6-4) pitched a scoreless sixth inning for the win. Jordan Montgomery tossed three scoreless innings for his first career save.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Arizona took a 3-0 lead in the first inning against Cody Bradford (5-3). Marte hit a leadoff double and scored on Corbin Carroll’s triple. Grichuk followed with a two-run homer to left field.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n <\/p>\n The Diamondbacks added two runs in the second inning on Suarez’s leadoff homer and Marte’s one-out RBI single.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Semien put the Rangers on the board with his 20th homer, a two-out solo blast in the third inning to make it 5-1.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Texas cut the deficit to 5-2 on Nathaniel Lowe’s run-scoring single in the fourth, but the Diamondbacks answered with Marte’s three-run homer in the bottom half of the inning.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Bradford allowed eight runs on nine hits over 3 2\/3 innings. He struck out four with zero walks.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The Rangers stayed within striking distance with two runs in the fifth. Semien singled in a run against Slade Cecconi and Adolis Garcia added a run-scoring double to make it 8-4.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Del Castillo hit a three-run home run against Chase Anderson to put Arizona ahead 11-4 in the bottom of the fifth. The Diamondbacks added to their lead in the sixth inning on Christian Walker’s RBI double.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Suarez hit a solo homer in the seventh inning for his 28th long ball of the season.
