Janet Jackson<\/strong> has officially announced the 10 dates for her Resorts World Theatre <\/strong>residency, which her manager confirmed last week.<\/a><\/p>\n

The stint will begin December 30 and include a show on New Year\u2019s Eve, with eight additional 2025 performances \u2014 at least for now \u2014 that will include Valentine\u2019s Day weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cJanet Jackson is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in pop music,\u201d said Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas.<\/strong> \u201cWe could not be more thrilled to close out 2024 with her return to the Las Vegas Strip and her venue debut at our award-winning Resorts World Theatre, and to kick off 2025 with a run of sure-to-be-unforgettable shows. This is a residency fans won\u2019t want to miss.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Resorts World <\/strong>residency is expected to include a duet between the 58-year-old singer and her late brother, Michael Jackson,<\/strong>\u00a0on their 1995 single, \u201cScream.\u201d The duet already features on Jackson\u2019s current \u201cTogether Again\u201d tour, which wraps in October in Europe.<\/p>\n

Miss Jackson\u2019s dates are December 30 and 31; January 3 and 4; and February 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, and 15. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. PT Wednesday, August 28 via AXS.com.<\/p>\n

Bleau Tears<\/h2>\n

Tears for Fears<\/strong> will perform three nights at the BleauLive Theater<\/strong> inside the Fontainebleau<\/strong>. The shows will take place on October 30 and November 1-2.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a while since we\u2019ve been on the road and are very eager to share this live show experience with everyone,\u201d band members Roland Orzabal<\/strong> and Curt Smith<\/strong> said in a joint statement. \u201cYou can expect to hear tracks from our 2022 album The Tipping Point as well as fan favorites. Be sure to listen closely though as there may be something new sprinkled in there as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, August 23 on tearsforfears.com.<\/p>\n

F1 Giving Away Something for Free?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

F1 has announced it will host the Las Vegas Grand Prix Fan Festival<\/strong> on the Strip during race weekend, and the general public won\u2019t have to pay to attend.<\/em> The event promises live entertainment across from the Wynn <\/strong>on November 22 and 23.<\/p>\n

This is a welcome change from last year when F1 sold $200-$500 tickets to see the Chainsmokers<\/strong> in the same space on the Friday before race day. None of the free acts have been announced nor have they been announced for the competing free Neon City Festival<\/a><\/strong> taking place downtown from November 22-24.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
