McDowell was recently taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gonzalez confirmed the investigation is ongoing and encouraged anyone with information to contact the department.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/SXfe8ct4dVriQSNj\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">As Gonzalez previously shared<\/a>, Harris County deputies responded to an incident in the parking lot of an apartment building August 20 where an adult male had \u201csustained gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.\u201d The statement also noted suspects had fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>It has not been confirmed yet how McDowell was identified as a suspect and apprehended.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1405786\/billions-actor-akili-mcdowell-arrested-and-charged-with-murder?cmpid=rss-syndicate-genericrss-us-top_stories\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Akili McDowell is facing serious allegations.
