Two workers at Las Vegas\u2019 Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa<\/a> were slashed by a solitary man early Saturday, according to news reports. They were critically injured.<\/p>\n

The stabber<\/a> then was shot at the crime scene by Red Rock security guards<\/a>, according to the New York Post<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The victims were rushed to University Medical Center<\/a> (UMC) where they reportedly were being treated for life-threatening wounds. The suspect\u00a0also was injured and was taken to UMC for emergency treatment.<\/p>\n

No details were provided on the injuries of the three patients. All three were believed to be alive as of Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was there,\u201d one unnamed witness was quoted by Vital Vegas after the attack. \u201cHad stuck around after concert.\u201d<\/p>\n

Security ran by not far from me chasing someone, and then you heard the shot fired. People scattered everywhere. I dove behind a machine. Whoever was shot [,] was down near the entrance to Lucky Penny.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officers were alerted about the violent incident shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday. Numerous officers responded to the casino.<\/p>\n

It appeared to be an isolated incident. No members of the public were at risk. The casino remained open.<\/p>\n

LVMPD officers are likely reviewing surveillance camera video in the casino to investigate the stabbing. They also searched the area for witnesses and physical evidence.<\/p>\n

Motive Unclear<\/h2>\n

No immediate word on why the suspect stabbed the two employees. It\u2019s unclear if the suspect used a knife or another type of weapon when attacking the victims.<\/p>\n

The identities of the suspect and two employees weren\u2019t released by LVMPD officers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Red Rock is located off of Charleston Boulevard near Route 215.<\/p>\n

Downtown Fight, Gunfire Heard<\/h2>\n

Gunfire was sounded Saturday morning near Fremont<\/a> and Main streets in Downtown Las Vegas, according to a LVMPD post on X, formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n

A fight was spotted involving two groups of individuals as of 5 a.m. As of early Saturday, there were no reports of injuries.<\/p>\n

The incident took place in 100 block of Fremont Street, near Charleston Boulevard and Eastern Avenue, according to Las Vegas TV station KSNV. The Fremont Street Experience is also nearby.<\/p>\n

Numerous suspects were apprehended. Charges and the suspects\u2019 names weren\u2019t revealed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Details weren\u2019t provided by the LVMPD.<\/p>\n

LVMPD officers continued to investigate the incident as of early Saturday.<\/p>\n

There are numerous casinos located near the scene of the fight.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
