Days of Our Lives<\/a> spoilers for the week of 8-05-24 promise Jack and Chad will make a shocking discovery in Poplar Bluff.<\/p>\n

Their search for Abigail still seems silly, or at least, based on the flimsiest of evidence. All they have is a video showing a random woman from the back who has a similar hairstyle to Abigail.<\/p>\n

Still, they have to start somewhere, and even if the woman isn\u2019t Abigail, they might end up rescuing a kidnap victim. It doesn\u2019t make sense that Clyde would lead them toward some other hostage that they don\u2019t know is missing, but anything is possible in Salem.<\/p>\n

The Abigail Mystery Won\u2019t End Anytime Soon<\/h2>\n

Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 8-05-24 Are Vague <\/h3>\n

Days of Our Lives doesn\u2019t generally resolve stories quickly, and this one\u2019s just begun. Still, Chad and Jack have to make some progress or there\u2019s not much point to their trip to Poplar Bluff.<\/p>\n

The two spoilers related to this storyline suggest that they will find somebody in the room they broke into during the Friday cliffhanger, but that a different person will be spying on them.<\/p>\n

One fan theory suggests that Jack and Chad will find Jennifer\u2019s supposedly-dead mother, Laura Horton, who Gwen supposedly killed over two years ago.<\/p>\n

It wouldn\u2019t make any sense for Clyde to be holding onto her, but anything\u2019s possible in Salem, and Laura returning would be an interesting plot twist<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Not only would it give Jennifer every reason to return to Salem if her mother turned out to be alive, but it would also mean Jack could forgive Gwen for her many sins.<\/p>\n

While Gwen isn\u2019t a popular character and doesn\u2019t add much to the show, there have been several references to her recently. <\/p>\n

Emily O\u2019Brien\u2019s run as Theresa is over now that Theresa pled guilty to kidnapping, so she could return as Gwen to deal with the fallout of Laura\u2019s non-death.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Next In The New Search For John?<\/h3>\n

Steve said he was going back to Greece, so hopefully he\u2019ll get some more information soon.<\/p>\n

As discussed above, this Days of Our Lives spoiler for the week of 8-05-24 could mean anything.<\/p>\n

The \u201cfamiliar face\u201d doesn\u2019t have to be Abigail. Maybe someone else is also searching for her or has some other reason to be in Poplar Bluff.<\/p>\n

Considering how disappointing an exit<\/a> Bo and Hope had last time around, it would be awesome if it was one of them, though that\u2019s probably asking for too much.<\/p>\n

Still, I\u2019m willing to bet that a random person from the past is in that room and that the mysterious woman, whether or not she\u2019s Abigail, is sneaking around spying on the would-be detectives.<\/p>\n

Maybe it\u2019s just me, but Stephanie\u2019s latest boyfriend dying is very different from Alex learning his new bride was a golddigger and fraudster who tricked the world into thinking Alex was the Kiriakis heir.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d rather Stephanie turn to Chad. Now that the love of her life has passed away (assuming Everett is really dead), she should understand why Chad didn\u2019t want to move on so quickly from Abigail\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Chad is still in Poplar Bluff, so Alex it is. Let\u2019s hope they at least stay away from grief sex!<\/p>\n

These two will actually tie the knot. Yay!<\/p>\n

However, it wouldn\u2019t be Salem without their wedding nearly getting derailed<\/a>, so there will probably be some drama that\u2019s easily resolved.<\/p>\n

Fiona and Brady are continuing to have an alcohol-fueled affair while pretending they are working a 12-step program, so they\u2019re prime candidates for disruptions and delays before Sarah and Xander finally say their I Dos.<\/p>\n

Abe and Kate Offer Leo A Job On Body & Soul<\/h2>\n

Leo Stark is the perfect person to star in Body & Soul. He\u2019s over the top and sometimes funny as it is, so his talents are wasted at the newspaper.<\/p>\n

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 8-05-24, Brady is surprised to discover Tate is in Salem instead of at camp.<\/p>\n

This likely means that Brady has sobered up, at least for the moment. Still, Tate has no reason to listen to his opinion if Brady is getting drunk and sleeping in the same bed as Fiona (even if it is platonic at the moment.)<\/p>\n

This story sounds like a bunch of tired TV tropes<\/a> waiting to happen. Brady may find out because he literally bumps into Tate (hopefully not while drunk) or jealous Sophia might tell him to cause trouble.<\/p>\n

Either way, while Tate\u2019s carefree summer days are over, his determination to be with Holly isn\u2019t, so Brady\u2019s opposition will only make Tate more hellbent on doing what he wants.<\/p>\n

Stefan Considers Coming Clean With Gabi<\/h2>\n

This Would Probably Blow Up In His Face<\/h3>\n

Stefan coming clean with Gabi is both the best and worst idea possible.<\/p>\n

Gabi will flip out and the couple will likely break up, at least temporarily. And when Gabi is angry, she goes into revenge mode, which isn\u2019t good news for anybody.<\/p>\n

Still, secrets always come out in Salem, and with Connie holding onto intel about the affair, it\u2019s only a matter of time before Gabi learns the truth from someone else (if she doesn\u2019t know it already.).<\/p>\n

Johnny and Chanel Have An Uncomfortable Encounter With Connie<\/h2>\n

Will They Be The Serial Killer\u2019s Latest Victim?<\/h3>\n

Ugh, no! Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 8-05-24 say that Johnny and Chanel will cross paths with Connie, and it won\u2019t be pretty.<\/p>\n

I detest these serial killer stories. I\u2019m still coping with Paige\u2019s unnecessary death<\/a> at Ben Weston\u2019s hands, and that was in 2015!<\/p>\n

Connie better leave Johnny and Chanel alone.<\/p>\n

The best-case scenario is that they realize something is strange because of how Connie is acting. If this encounter leads to her downfall and not to the deaths of two young people who have been through more than enough, that\u2019s acceptable.<\/p>\n
