Flavia Saraiva<\/strong><\/a> bounced back in the blink of an eye.<\/p>\n After the gymnast from Brazil\u2019s Olympic team<\/a> took a spill during her warmup<\/a> in the team all-around final July 30, she bounced back to help bring her teammates\u2014including Rebeca Andrade<\/a>, Jade Barbosa<\/strong>, Lorrane Oliveira<\/strong> and Julia Soares<\/strong>\u2014earn a bronze medal.<\/p>\n And when it came to the all-around individual final, Flavia once again delivered.<\/p>\n Though the 24-year-old did not make it to the medal podium\u2014that honor went to Team USA\u2019s Simone Biles<\/a> <\/strong>and Suni Lee<\/strong><\/a> for gold and bronze<\/a>, respectively, while her teammate Rebeca\u00a0<\/strong>earned silver\u2014Flavia still turned impressive scores in her four events, earning her ninth place<\/p>\n Despite a small fall in her floor routine, Flavia earned a 12.233 in that event, a 13.900 on the uneven bars, a 13.633 in her vault and her highest score of the final, a 14.266 on the beam\u2014bringing her total to 54.032.<\/p>\n But while her performance didn\u2019t clinch her one of the top spots, Flavia accomplished what she set out to do at this year\u2019s Games: enjoy them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
