Mandatory Credit: Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports<!-- --> <!-- --> <\/span><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-1\">\n<p>The Cincinnati Reds acquired first baseman Ty France from the Seattle Mariners on Monday in exchange for minor league catcher Andruw Salcedo.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-2\">\n<p>The Reds also received cash considerations in the deal.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p><\/p>\n<section id=\"section-3\">\n<p>France, 30, was designated for assignment last week after batting .223 with eight homers and 31 RBIs in 88 games for the Mariners this season.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-4\">\n<p>An All-Star in 2022, France is a career .264 hitter with 69 home runs and 292 RBIs in 650 games with the San Diego Padres (2019-20) and Mariners.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-5\">\n<p>Salcedo, 21, hails from Colombia and signed with the Reds in 2019.
