MLB’s\u00a0Freddie Freeman<\/strong>\u00a0and his family are in the midst of a difficult time.<\/p>\n The Dodgers\u00a0first baseman\u00a0and his wife\u00a0Chelsea Freeman<\/strong>\u00a0shared that their 3-year-old son\u00a0Maximus<\/strong>\u00a0was\u00a0rushed to the emergency room as he was experiencing severe pain that made it difficult for him to sit or stand.<\/p>\n “Please say a prayer for Maximus,” Chelsea wrote\u00a0on her\u00a0Instagram Story<\/a>\u00a0July 24,\u00a0per\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em><\/a>. “Dr says he developed transient synovitis from the viral infection he had at All-Star Week. Day 3 of not being able to sit, stand or walk.”<\/p>\n Transient synovitis is a “temporary inflammation of the hip can cause limping and pain in the hip and leg,” according to\u00a0Kids Health<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 33-year-old also put out a plea out to her fans, asking if they had “any tips to help toddlers take\/keep down medicine?”<\/p>\n “He is usually good at taking medicine,” she explained about Maximus, “but he keeps spitting it out.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
