Today, I was in one of those bad moods where you can\u2019t quite put your finger on what\u2019s bothering you. To shake it off, I tried to look for pick-me-ups, and here are five\u2026<\/p>\n

My friend Nicki<\/a> came over the other day and took these shots of Toby with her film camera. Gahh, I love teenagers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For dinner, we had this crunchy New York Times tuna salad<\/a>, which gets over 2,000 five-star reviews, with pita chips and some other picnic-y foods. What delicious things have you made lately?<\/p>\n

Instagram comedian Brett Neustrom\u2019s<\/a> reel on all the random ways you hang out with close friends made me laugh. \u201cI have to drop off my tax forms,\u201d he says. \u201cWant to make a day out of it?\u201d Nothing better than an errand hang<\/a>.<\/p>\n

My friend Jen\u2019s<\/a> house (a few more photos here<\/a>) has a row of colorful hooks by the pool. \u201cThey\u2019re from Garza Marfa<\/a>, one of my favorite brands,\u201d she told me. Since I\u2019m at the stage in life where I love things like hooks (you, too?), my other two favorites are this bow<\/a> and these shapes<\/a>.<\/p>\n
